So I got a promo for an Arsenal tutorial. Usually I do not buy tutorials. However, this really intrigued me because it is a wacom tablet technique tutorial mixed with other photoshop foolin' around and resources. Definitely worth checking out. I managed to get a sweet deal on the price because I subscribe to GoMedia (they have great free vector packs every now and again). That's something else I wanted to get into. I really don't use my wacom. I need to get on that...

I had to come up with two more comps for my ideas class. this time I decided to get a shoot together. Obviously ALL the girls flaked out, but some guys showed up and we made due with what we had, that's how we came up with this little gem. I love it. And my models were the best sports ever! They rock!! This is, definitely, my favorite comp OF ALL..

Seriously. God bless Martha Stewart and her crafts templates. I had no idea where i was going to find a bear until I walked into Big Lots! 2 bucks and all the felt/paper flower templates -with materials were like 2 bucks. Crafts are fuunn..

PHOTOSHOP DISASTER -Film festival edition

So, you know, I usually keep quiet about stuff I see that is kind of out of whack. However, I really couldn't this time. I don't have an issue with super skinny models, I could care less. I know they really are just hangers, objects for designers to display their wares on and have nothing to do with me. I love fashion, so I give it a free pass. HOWEVER –this. is. just. too much. Please make note of the model below. Click the picture to get a bigger image if you must. Now, look at her waist. Please do. It kind of looks like maybe a stripe of her bathing suit, but alas, no. HER WAIST AND SOME OF HER BACK have been photoshopped out. Now, ok, over zealous fashion mag retoucher, I will give him a pass BUT FOR FUCKS SAKE, THIS IS FOR A FILM FESTIVAL. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? REALLY???????? who did this?? cos really, they either suck or have a really bad case of body dysmorphic disorder that they are projecting on this poor model that now looks like an alien.
