A Little Polo

Last week we had to do panning exercises for photo class. So I went to a polo match (they have one ONCE a year at SoBe), only to realize afterwards, that I got like, half of the shots with the wrong shutter speed. So I then had to shoot some cars. Whatever, at least I got some shots I wouldn't normally have had the chance to shoot...

I've always wanted to do cunstructivist/bauhaus stuff. Now, I HAVE THE CHANCE! BWAHAHAHAHA! Which is ironic that I would do this now, since the bauhaus guys pissed me off not too long ago...

Peter Steele from Type O Negative passed away yesterday. He was 48 - I think. People think it was heart failure (although, heart failure is a reaction to something, and it results in death. But that's just my Honors Biology teacher I'm channeling..). I was lucky enough to go see them when they came to town a few years ago, and they were awesome. They are an acquired taste for some, but one thing that is absolutely true is that this guy's voice (Peter) was amazing. This is a sad day for Goth Metal chicks everywhere. I would drink some Jägermeister in his honor today if it didn't get me sick every time I drank it...

Also, Love You to Death is one of the best songs everrrrrrr...

I can. It's just that the wacom takes some getting used to. I finally installed the driver into my computer. And BOY what a difference that made. I finally have pen pressure and let me tell you, it makes ALL the difference!




This is my first actual "try out" of the tablet. I am pretty psyched to keep using this puppy! I am definitely going to go whole hog on that tutorial...

Spring is here! So I got this for summer.. Not one to buy swimsuits (I rarely go to the beach/pool -skin cancer phobia and slightly body dysmorphic-ish). But I couldn't resist.


No that's not me. That's the model. It's an eco friendly bikini made with low impact dyes and part of the proceeds go to Green Corps. Cute and eco friendly!

Arsenal

So I got a promo for an Arsenal tutorial. Usually I do not buy tutorials. However, this really intrigued me because it is a wacom tablet technique tutorial mixed with other photoshop foolin' around and resources. Definitely worth checking out. I managed to get a sweet deal on the price because I subscribe to GoMedia (they have great free vector packs every now and again). That's something else I wanted to get into. I really don't use my wacom. I need to get on that...
